Bakeries & cafés in Palma

Ensaïmadas, Mallorca's coiled pastry, come up in reviews of 12 of these 23 places, and all but one of the 23 are bakeries or pastry shops. Ten are in the centre, with most of the others spread through the Nord, Ponent and Llevant districts. Carrer del Sindicat has two very different bakeries: Panaderia S'Estació, open 7 AM to 9 PM every day, has a glass floor through which customers can watch the bakers at work below, and Fika Farina is a Swedish-style coffee bakery whose reviews talk about cinnamon rolls and cardamom buns. The exception is JOHO Ice Paradise on Carrer de Sant Domingo, a frozen-yogurt and ice-cream shop with toppings included in the price, open until 11 PM from Monday to Saturday. Thirteen places give prices of €1–10 per person, and eight open by 7 AM on some days.
