Pasticceria Toletta, by the Ponte de le Maravegie in Dorsoduro, has no seats, only standing tables outside, and its reviews dwell on frittelle, zabaglione, sfogliatelle and vegan options. On the mainland, Pasticceria Palazzo on Via Palazzo in central Mestre sells cakes and frittelle, closes on Mondays and takes a long midday break, while Mida Cocktail Bar & Food & Gelato on Via Ca' Marcello, by the Mestre railway station, lists hours from 11 AM to midnight every day.
