Bakeries & cafés in Utrecht

All nine Utrecht places are bakeries, spread from the canals of the Binnenstad to Overvecht, West, Zuid and the north-west and north-east of the city. Two sit on the Oudegracht: Maracuyà vegan bakery, at wharf level on Oudegracht aan de Werf, opens only on Saturdays from 11 AM to 4:30 PM and serves vegan pies and cheesecake with coffee, and Bakery Mario in Huis Drakenborch opens Tuesday to Saturday from 10 AM. On Kanaalstraat in West, Bakery Hicret 1986 bakes Turkish lahmacun and pide and opens at 6 AM on Saturdays, while Imanes Bakery on Proostwetering also runs cookie workshops. Six of the seven that give a price list €1–10 per person.
