Among the coffee shops of Trikala, two sweet specialists stand out. Halvas Tatsios on Vasili Tsitsani is a zacharoplasteio, a Greek pastry shop, whose reviews mention syrup-soaked pastries and individual cups; it opens every day until 11:30 PM. Sweetartstories on Ippokratous prepares sweets and decoration for events, opening on Monday to Saturday mornings and on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. Among the coffee shops, 6A I coffee house on Meteoron stands next to the Mill of the Elves, the town's Christmas park, and keeps morning and early-afternoon hours, until 4 PM on Sundays.
