All six of these Roman food shops serve breakfast, but each is built around something different. Il Fornaio on Via dei Baullari, by Campo de' Fiori, is open from 7 AM to 10 PM, and its reviews mention mortadella, focaccia and pizza bianca as often as cannoli and maritozzi. Bakery Valli on Via Bergamo pairs a bakery counter with coffee and lunch dishes and closes on Sundays. Café Merenda on Via del Gazometro in Ostiense serves brunch and pastries until mid-afternoon, Tuesday to Sunday, with vegetarian and vegan options, and Reggina Bar on Via di Casalotti opens at 6 AM from Monday to Saturday.
