Bakeries & cafés in Paderborn

Schloß Neuhaus has two of Paderborn's ice-cream cafés: Italienisches Eiscafé Cortina on Schloßstraße, by the castle, open daily until 10 PM with Spaghettieis and sundaes, and Eiscafé il Gusto on Bielefelder Straße, open from noon to 6 PM and listing a rooftop terrace. Closer to the centre, Eiscafe Factory at Am Westerntor also serves Spaghettieis, and Label Coffee on Westernstraße is a coffee shop known in reviews for cakes, muffins and vegan options, open from 7:15 AM on weekdays. Benslips Bakery in Elsen bakes rolls and tortes from 6 AM, or 8 AM on Sundays. Less usual entries are the café inside the Schwimmoper swimming pool on Schützenweg and a soft-serve vending machine on Abtsbrede.
