Spelt & Rye in Hucknall, an artisan bakery and deli with croissants, baguettes and sourdough, opens only from Wednesday to Saturday, and The Bakery on Tamworth Road in Long Eaton, across the Derbyshire border, sells filled rolls, salads and birthday cakes. No18 Coffee & Eatery in Calverton serves cakes, jacket potatoes and paninis every day.
