Bakeries & cafés in Newton Abbot

Newton Abbot itself has just two of these four places; the other two are in the Dartmoor towns of Ashburton and Chagford. In town, Shaldon Bakery on Queen Street bakes traditional pasties, sausage rolls, Chelsea buns, scones and cheese straws, with vegan options, and opens from 8:30 AM to 3 PM. Cheeky Cherry Cafe on Market Street is a coffee shop serving breakfasts, burgers and hot chocolate until 4 PM. In Ashburton, Christina's on East Street is a small café for breakfast rolls and sandwiches, and on The Square in Chagford, Ellis Bakery sells pasties, sausage rolls and doughnuts to take away. All four open Monday to Saturday and close on Sundays.
