Bakeries & cafés in Magdeburg

The Altstadt holds five of the six Magdeburg listings; the exception is Gelato Mio on Halberstädter Straße in Sudenburg, an ice-cream parlour serving sundaes, open from 10 AM to 8 PM but closed on Saturdays. The second ice-cream shop, Sapori del Gelato Eiscafe on the Schleinufer by the Elbe, lists weekend hours only, from noon to 6 PM. Café und Pizza DaVittorio Am Tunnel in the City Carré on Ernst-Reuter-Allee combines a pizza takeaway with a café counter: reviews dwell on its cakes, milkshakes and flatbread sandwiches, and it opens every day until 9 PM, with vegan options and delivery.
