Bakeries & cafés in Kassel

Five of Kassel's eleven places are ice-cream cafés, and waffles come up in the reviews of every one of them. Four addresses are in the centre: besides ice-cream cafés in the Königs-Galerie and on Treppenstraße, Happy Baker on Untere Königsstraße serves croissants, burek and New York rolls from 6 or 7 AM until 9 PM every day, and Bellas petit bonheur, a small pâtisserie in the Market Hall, sells macarons, small tarts and petit fours from Thursday to Saturday only. The other seven are spread one per district, from Harleshausen in the north-west to Bettenhausen in the east. Café Correus in the City Center Bad Wilhelmshöhe, by Wilhelmshöhe station, serves cakes and rolls from 8 AM to 6 PM daily and has rooftop seating.
