Cafés & Coffee in Genoa

Each of the five Genoa cafés keeps a different rhythm, although all of them list breakfast. Crash Bar on Via Montevideo opens at 6 AM from Monday to Saturday and closes by 4 PM on weekdays and at noon on Saturday. Basilico Caffè on Via Palestro stays open until 10 PM from Monday to Saturday and serves aperitivo, cheese focaccia and Genoese dishes; at €10–20 per person it is the only café here above €10. Caffetteria Cantore in Sampierdarena opens at 7 AM every day, Sunday mornings included, has outdoor tables and is reviewed for brioche. In the old town, Caffè Fratelli Nadotti lists brunch and outdoor seating but no Sunday opening.
