Bakeries & cafés in Freilassing

Freilassing, the Bavarian town across the Saalach from Salzburg, has two ice-cream parlours and a bakery branch here. Eiscafé Cellino on Hauptstraße serves sundaes, Spaghettieis and waffles with espresso and cappuccino, from 9 AM on weekdays and Saturdays and from 11 AM on Sundays, closing at 8 or 9 PM. Gelato Gelato on Jahnstraße sells Italian ice cream in waffle cones from 10 AM to 9 PM every day. The third entry is a morning-only branch of the Meßner bakery and Konditorei on Münchener Straße, which opens at 5:45 AM and closes at noon, Monday to Saturday.
