Bakeries & cafés in Donostia-San Sebastian

Ten of these 12 places are bakeries, and five belong to two local names: three Tahona branches and two Ogi Berri shops. Four addresses are in Gros, east of the Urumea, and the rest are spread from the Centro and Amara to Loiola. Basterra on Urbieta Kalea keeps morning hours only, 8 AM to 1:30 PM all week, and its reviews talk mostly about Basque cake, madeleines and cookies. Okindegia on Miguel Imaz Kalea opens at 7 AM every day and is associated in reviews with churros con chocolate. Families with small children have La ciudad mágica, a café with play areas in the Arcco Amara shopping centre, where reviews mention birthday parties; it opens every afternoon except Monday. Nine places list breakfast, and six give prices of €1–10 per person.
