Bakeries & Pastry in Berlin
80 places in Berlin.
Opening times are the clearest divide among Berlin's bakeries. Café Bakery Bonjour on Markgrafenstraße opens at 4:30 AM on weekdays, Stern Bakery & Confectionery on Jülicher Straße in Gesundbrunnen at 4 AM, and Backlover, in the entrance hall of the Friedrichstraße U-Bahn station, at 5 AM from Monday to Friday only. At the other end of the day, Melek Pastanesi on Oranienstraße is one of three that list 24-hour opening. Neukölln adds baklava shops such as Altin Baklava on Hermannstraße, whose reviews mention katmer and künefe. Further afield, croissants come up often at La Baguette on Raumerstraße in Prenzlauer Berg, Mignon Sicilian Bakery on Donaustraße offers arancini and gluten-free baking, and Nicos Sweet Studio, a patisserie on Fasanenstraße with macarons and petit fours, closes on Mondays and Tuesdays. Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg holds 21 of the 80, and nearly every bakery that lists a price gives €1–10.
