Pizza
134 places in 118 cities.
Pizza is more often a sideline than a speciality on this page: only about a fifth of the 133 places carry a pizzeria category, fewer than the bakeries that also bake it. Italy has 44, from bakeries to all-day bar-pizzeria-gelaterias such as Ritrovo Donato at Torre Faro, near Messina, open from 6 AM to midnight and reviewed for focaccia, pidone and granita, or Blue Ice at Rosolina Mare, which lists 2 AM. In France, 12 of the 33 are boulangeries; at Chez Fernand in Moëlan-sur-Mer pizza is what reviews mention most, and Buvette du Lac serves it on a terrace at Esparron-de-Verdon. Nearly half of Germany's entries are ice-cream cafés, among them Bellagio Eiscafé Lounge Bar in Eisenach. Three places in Vrachati, near Corinth, open only in the evening on weekdays, and in Norway Borgund Vedovnsbakeri, a wood-oven bakery open Thursday to Sunday, is reviewed for pizza and cinnamon rolls.
