Cafés & Coffee in York

Tearooms and village cafés make up most of this page: four of the five are outside York. In Helmsley, Number Twelve on Castlegate is a tearoom with a garden, serving cooked breakfasts, quiche, steak pie and cakes at £10–20 per person; it closes on Thursdays. The Bakehouse Yorkshire at Mill Green Farm in Crayke opens from Wednesday to Sunday and is reviewed for cakes and cheese scones. Café On the Wolds on the High Street in Market Weighton serves breakfasts daily from 9 AM to 3 PM and has a courtyard, and Terrington Village Store pairs a village shop with a café, opening at 7 AM, Monday to Saturday. Trio Patisserie is the only one in York.
