Two central bakeries work with sourdough: MLRT Sourdough microbakery on Mitropolitou Iosif makes focaccia sandwiches with cheese, tomatoes and vegetables, Monday to Saturday from 8 AM to 6 PM, and 72H Artisanal Bakery, inside a cosmetics shop on Paleon Patron Germanou, is known in its reviews for cookies and cinnamon rolls. Greek pastry is the speciality of several others. Rafaello on Vasilissis Olgas serves bougatsa and tiropita with coffee and lists hours from 2 AM to 6 PM; Gazela’s Bakery on Delfon starts at 5:30 AM on weekdays and 5 AM on Saturdays and sells kourabiedes, the almond butter biscuits; and Τρίγωνα Πανοράματος Δροσσά makes trigona panoramatos, cream-filled filo triangles, from 8:30 AM to 11 PM daily. AristoTéleion on Vasileos Irakleiou opens at 6 AM for pies, and Giotto Patisserie on Grigoriou Lampraki sells syrupy pastries as well as bread. Sixteen of the 17 list delivery.
