Bakeries & Pastry in Lecce

Early risers are well served by the Lecce bakeries, two of which start at 5:30 AM. Caffetteria Danny on Viale Marche opens at that hour every day and is reviewed for a separate gluten-free counter, lactose-free and vegan pasticciotti, and zeppole; on Wednesdays it closes at 2 PM. Il Laboratorio del Fornaio, inside Bar Code on Viale della Libertà, keeps the same early start seven days a week and stays open until 8:30 PM. At Pasticceria Caffetteria De Pascalis on Via Cosimo De Giorgi the pasticciotti also come with pistachio or Nutella fillings; it is closed on Mondays. Pasticceria Delle Donne shuts from 1:30 to 5 PM and does not reopen on Thursday and Sunday afternoons.
