Bakeries & Pastry in Hull

Cake specialists account for four of Hull's eleven bakeries. On Newland Avenue, Cake Box and Cake World both sell birthday cakes into the evening; Cake World opens until 9 PM daily, lists a drive-through and also sells baklava and pide. Little Miss Cheesecake in Willerby, just outside Hull, makes flavoured cheesecakes, and Juniper Cakery on Council Avenue works by arranged collection only, mainly on wedding cakes, cupcakes and macarons. Two everyday counters are on Hessle Road: Dollies In Store Bakery at no. 751 opens at 5 AM from Monday to Saturday for bacon sandwiches and sausage rolls, and Artisan Bakery at no. 202 serves breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Hull Bakery in HU3 sells flatbreads, naan and baklava, and two bakeries named Taylor's, in the North Point and Ings shopping centres, close by mid-afternoon.
