Hanover-Mitte has none of the nine ice-cream parlours here; they are spread across the districts, from Badenstedt in the west to Misburg in the east. Eis 2000 on Hildesheimer Straße and its namesake Eis 2000 on Engelbosteler Damm both draw reviews about vegan flavours; the Engelbosteler Damm shop has benches outside and opens 10 AM–9 PM daily. Spaghettieis, ice cream pressed into noodle shapes, comes up in reviews of four parlours, among them Eis Rialto on Falkenstraße in Linden and Eiscafé Degrassi on Badenstedter Straße, which closes on Tuesdays. Solini on Schierholzstraße also serves cakes, tortes and sundaes, 10 AM–7 PM every day. Opening times vary widely: Eiskiosk L’Angolino on Tannenbergallee lists only 1:30–6 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, Gelateria Fiore in Bemerode closes on Mondays, and GELATOK! on Vahrenwalder Straße stays open until 9:30 PM.
