Cafés & Coffee in Bergen

A wine café, a museum café and a school coffee bar are among the six Bergen cafés. Skg.Vinkafé on Steinkjellergaten, just behind Bryggen, serves coffee and wine, and its reviews mention waffles, brown cheese, shrimp and gluten-free cake; it is closed on Mondays. Fjåk runs the café in the Kode 2 Stenersen museum on Rasmus Meyers allé, open every day, with vegetarian and vegan dishes, outdoor tables and hot chocolate, cheesecake and brunost in its reviews. Cafe Mash on Nedre Korskirkeallmenningen is the early one, from 7 AM on weekdays, with cinnamon buns and cappuccinos. Kaffe Diem is the coffee bar of the Amalie Skram upper-secondary school on Lungegårdskaien.
